Maggie loves her JOSH. Josh is the pacifier’s nickname. Barrett started this when he was probably too old to have one, but still unable to say it. He lovingly called his pacifier “Josh”. Lots of Americans call it a nuk and Australians call it a dummy, but the Beairds have Josh. In Maggie’s case, we have several. She keeps a spare behind her ear.

She is so pretty in pink & white.
She got this love of the pacifier from her Momma. You, like Bear, were way too old to still be using one but you loved it and I loved it because it put you to sleep. I finally had to tell you that there were baby pigs in the garage and there were too many and the momma didn’t have enough teats for all her babies and would you let them have your pacifiers. we gathered up about 22 around the house (i never wanted to risk not having one) and threw them out in the garage and that was the end of it. you were 14.
